Hmmmm, no its not what you think it is.hahaha This is just a simple problem.
I guess my new template is not working so well especially on my blog list.
Whenever i put new links, the ones on top of the list would no longer work. I mean when you try to click the link it would not open the site of that particular link. Looking for another template and editing mg blog settings again would be a super long process again for me.hahaha
Well i guess i don't have a choice. I will just have to look for another template that will work on my blog :)

I'm back! Well i haven't been blogging for almost a year now, and i must say that i miss this hobby of mine :)
Life has been full and hectic lately so writing/blogging was my last option after a very tiring day. :)
I just hope that from now on i will be motivated to do blogging again, after all i think this is one of the many ways to get away from my stressful banking life!

Finally, after barely a month of waiting, my new set of uniforms was delivered today! You see, i think I'm the only one left in the office who is still wearing the old set. The wearing of our new uniforms was scheduled last June but because of some "delays" my uniform was really so late! Still I'm happy that it's finally here! I'm sure our clients would stop asking me why I'm wearing a different uniform from my office mates.lol!

Just a few minutes ago as i was checking my face book account i found out that my aunt who lives in manila invited me on her face book and to my surprise, she also sent the latest picture of my favorite twin cousins! See how pretty they are? When i'm in manila i always stay in their house, and the twins told me that i'm their favorite ate..heheh Actually I've been asking my aunt to send me recent pics of my cousins in manila, but so far this is the only picture that she gave me, hehehe i understand it though since she is so new to the internet thing.hehehe Anyway this picture is enough for now!lol! Good to see them both!

Since last week, i have been planning to watch Ice Age part 3. But the weather was not good last week for most of the days the rain started in the afternoon, so i decided(rain or shine.hehe)to watch it today(saturday) since there is no work tomorrow. So i went to my favorite SM mall (because it's just so near from our house.hehehe), but i was so surprise that ice age wasn't there anymore ;( instead the latest harry potter film is currently showing in 3 cinemas! urghhh! (why do they have to occupy three cinemas for that kind of movie?!!!) well what can i do? Lesson learned? when you want to do something, do it now! heheeh

Nowadays i am quite fond of looking myself in front of the mirror, it's not because vanity strikes me but because people seem to noticed that i have gained some weight.hehehehe Let's say for example last sunday, my bf and i went to his cousin's house when suddenly the mother in law of her cousin told me that "aiz, nanambok lagi ka, ingon nako"hehehe and just this day when i went to limketkai mall, i happen to pass by a friend whom i did not notice at first, i only knew she was there when she shouted "borj!, nagtambok lagi! ka" ouch! reality bites, hehehe wat shall i do? i just love to eat and eat.hehehe i think i need to enroll myself to a fitness center and really watch my diet before its too late!aheheh

Interesting film!

Just this afternoon my boyfriend and i had our movie date. I was so "kulit" asking him for us to watch this movie, and he agreed! I've actually waited for this movie. When i first saw the trailer of this film, it really caught my attention, and promised myself not to miss this movie.

True enough, my long wait is over and i watched it already!! Tom Hanks is indeed a great actor who played the role of Robert Langdon, a Harvard symbologist. There were a lot of twist and turns of the story and even the main villain was hard to identify (not unless you will really analyze and observe the actors well!). But for me i found out who's the main "kontrabida" on the earlier parts of the film!hehehe

But this film also had its negative feed backs,i have read some articles criticizing it. Well every one is entitled to their own opinion.hehe

All I can say is it's a good movie. Two thumbs up!

It's indeed a Happy birthday!

I woke up this morning filled with so much love from my family, friends, loved ones and church mates who never fail to remember this special day. Around 9 in the morning i was half awake when i heard my dad saying 'Leoniza, gising na, Happy birthday!' with matching kiss in the forehead ;)
My day started just so right and extra special with that kind of greeting from my dad. Then i went downstairs to eat my breakfast, my siblings and my mom saw that i was approaching so they started singing the happy birthday song as loud as they could!

After taking a bath, i took out my cellphone from my bag and i realized that my inbox was full of birthday greetings from friends, relatives and my former classmates, some even called me over the phone!Thank you guys!

Then in the afternoon i went on my usual Saturday schedule which is to be with the kids in balulang. Again my heart was filled with so much joy upon seeing all their faces, smiling and giving their sweetest greetings ;) Some even gave me greeting cards! Thank you Lord for the Joy that comes from these little ones ;)

Then the rest is history.hehehe

Thank you Lord for another year of blessing, protection and favor not just to me but also to my family and to the people that i care for.
I'ts indeed a happy happy birthday!

I think i have mentioned on one of my posts that I'll be having a two weeks straight leave. Thank God it was finally given to me! But time flies so fast that at this point my vacation leave is almost over :(. Nonetheless, I'm so thankful for this two week rest that i enjoyed it so much! My initial plan was to visit my family in Manila but for some reasons i decided to postpone and move it this November since I'll be having another vacation leave by then.

I just thank God for this rest! It was indeed a happy time spent with my love ones. It was also an opportunity to recharge and refresh my self from the stressful environment of my work.lol!

I'm just hoping for the best this coming Monday, especially that I'll be reporting to my new branch!

Yesterday i received a text message from my office mate asking me to drop by the office today because i have some papers to sign. Well it's official! the papers that i signed just this afternoon was a 'personnel movement' document which means that i will be transferred to another branch. So starting Monday next week i will be reporting to my new office at 'Lapasan' branch. I'm having mixed emotions right now, i am a bit sad, quite worried but on the other hand i am much excited about it! I just leave it all to God ;) I know that all things work together for good! I know he has a purpose why he allowed this thing to happen!

So here it is, my cute bag ;) I bought this at SM department store, its about 300 pesos. I bought this bag before my trip to Cebu. I was looking for a bag where i can put all my valuable things for my travel, like cellphone, wallet and etc. So fortunately i found this bag! At first it was intended only for travel purposes but i kinda like this bag so i have been using it everyday, even at the office!

So whats inside of it?

1. My devotional book-I bought this one about January of this year. I always bring this book with me, wherever i go.
2. My wallet- i guess i don't have to explain why! (lol)
3. My cellphone- I also bought this one just this year, it's the first fruit of my labor ;)

Last Monday, April 13 was my dad's 51st birthday! Thank God he was able to celebrate it with us again! We went to 'kahulugan' spring resort (that is his request) and we invited our relatives and some close friends.

It was indeed a another happy bonding moment for our family and we really saw that my dad enjoyed it very much! Happy birthday once again pops! You are indeed a blessing to us! Love you pops!

Can you find me in this picture???? hmmm of course! i belong to this group of "chicks and choys"! These are my bunch of friends who have made my high school days extra extra special!
I believe our class had a very colorful and exciting mixture of "kiddos"with different personalities, talents, attitudes, and even tantrums!hehehe

Well we have a gorgeous dancer(pearl), a politician in the making(ninoy), artists(cherry, titong and gretel), a song bird(jessica), we also have 5 registered nurses already( basil, benedict, steven alfred and jenylyn)- and more to come. We also have the co owner of 1st rafting adventure(domeng) we have an "aussie boy"(banoy) who's coming home this april for our reunion ;) and to top it all we have a "self acclaimed" jericho rosales!heheh (tianggao, no ther than him!)

We haven't seen each other for quite sometime already, that's why they decided to organize our reunion this month, i just really hope that it will push through since the time is so perfect and we are all so excited about this! I really hope that all of us could come!

I've been blogging inconsistently for the past months already but time is really very limited to me. My work involves money all the time, i need to have presence of mind at work, so it means i need to have a long rest and that means staying up late at the wee hours of the night is a big no no! for me. But thank God i'm gonna have my two weeks straight vacation leave, perhaps at that time i'll have enough time to blog and learn more about blogging and monetizing my blog too ;)

It's thursday once again!So its time for me to share my thankful lists for this week. I must admit i haven't been so consistent in writing for this meme but beginning this month i'll really try not to miss even one thursday ;)
so here it goes:

1. My mom and dad is presently in manila, they are preparing for my dad's operation.
-I thank God for the provision for this trip, even for the money that will be use for the operation, my company's insurance agency will cover almost all the expenses for the said operation since my dad is one of my dependents, so we won't be worrying the finances anymore, thank you Lord!

2.I thank the Lord for my 2 younger siblings has finally graduated in highschool! Its indeed a joy to see them march on the stage, and to top it all my dad finally had the chance to attend a graduation ceremony among his children for the first time ;) hehehe

3. Finally i thank God for my 2 weeks straight vacation leave.! yipee! thank you Lord !. It will be an opportunity to be refresh, to relax and unwind all the negative forms of stress!heheh It will also be a time for me to process my voter's i.d, my prof ed documents and my mom and i are planning to process our passport for future travel plans ;)

Yesterday was the graduation day of my two youngest siblings, melody and Russel! Finally after 4 long years of studying in highschool they are now ready to make "one step closer to their dreams" hehehe! The ceremony started with the usual baccalaureate mass, and the graduation exercise followed immediately.

I was surprised though to see their batch since i think theirs was a small group compared to other schools, they were only about two hundred plus. Surprisingly i was able to catch up and be there on the grad exercise ;) After office, i went straight to their school.

Lastly the most special thing that happened this day is that my dad, for the FIRST TIME got the chance to attend a graduation ceremony among his children! hehehe

my dad is at the center ;)

Forgive him from wearing shorts,hehehe (so inappropriate) but he is never use to attend such events.hehehe and he always complains about the weather here in the phils. He always say "mainit mang" hehehe

I promised to write about my trip in Cebu during my last post, actually I'm also excited to share with you guys my experiences there! So here it is ;)

Last Feb 28-march 1 and march 7-8, the two branches of unionbank here in cdo flew to cebu to have our branding seminar ;) It was such a memorable experience and bonding time for the two branches ;) and FYI guys, it was also my first time to set foot in cebu.hehehe ;)

We were all very excited because its also an opportunity for us to meet our fellow unionbankers on other parts of visayas and north mindanao. We had lots of activites, seminars and games and of course our most awaited part the "laag" time.hehehe

i'm back to the blog sphere again!hehehe Life has been full lately ;) For the last 3 weeks i've been going back and forth from cdo to cebu. I really had a lot of fun during our trip. A Serious Talk with dad

Well i guess every daughter is just so precious in their father's eyes.My dad is such a jealous dad.heheh Just a few minutes ago before i write this post, i had a quick but serious talk with my dad. Huh, well its about me having a boyfriend now. I actually started it out as a joke, then it led to some serious conversation and a few arguments as well. But even though it did not end the way i hope it would end, i still thank God for the opportunity of this "preliminary" talk..I thank God for giving me such a wonderful dad. Everything has its own time, i guess it's not the right time yet ;) But i really hope and pray that God will soften his heart and be open to the reality that his daughters won't be staying with him forever.. hehehe :) Miracles always happen ;)

Nokia 7210 supernova

Finally after several months of thinking what to buy for my savings, i finally decided to buy a new phone. It was not my first choice, but when i saw this model last last Sunday, it really strike me.hehehe i just love the color, the size (it's so handy) plus the features, i guess this phone was made exclusively for girls since its features are mostly for girl's use ;) and the price is so reasonable! Thank God for this blessing ;) It took me weeks to find the "bubble gum pink" color, every store that i went to sells the blue model, who wants blue when you can have it in pink? hehehe I'm just so happy for my new phone ;)

"In everything, give thanks"

I am much excited for this weeks' TT because i have lot of things to thank GOd for.)So here are my thankful lists for today:

I thank God for the safe travel of my mom and dad who just arrived last Tuesday from manila.
I thank God that finally my dad is here again for his yearly vacation! My dad is a seaman and working overseas, so he rarely spends time with us. I thank God for another bonding moments with my papa. Every minute spent with him is always treasured and precious ones!
I thank God for the "pasalubongs" from my ever generous papa.hehehe
I thank God for the life of my best friend Limbing who has finally found a job! yipeeee! (makalibre na cya, finally!hehehe) She has waited and prayed for this, and i'm just so excited for her first day at work :)
I thank God for the life of my boyfriend who is so supportive and loving. We've been together for 1 month and 20 days to be exact(hehehe). We are currently in the adjustment period, but i thank God for really guiding us in this relationship. I thank God for the people that surrounds us who are always willing to give their guidance as well as their advices!

It's been a long week for me, even though my day did not end that well, i thank GOd for the Lessons that he is teaching me especially in my experience just a few hours ago:) (i'll make another post for that)
Finally i just thank God for his grace and Love that is new every morning, he's love is just so refreshing and i thank him for he is an ever faithful God!

A Dinner to Remember

Last January 25 and 26 was my mom and brother's birthday respectively. Since It was a double celebration, my mom decided to have a dinner at one of our fave resto here in cdo. Guess who's our special guest at that night?hehehee

She's a nice gal and quite shy. But it's ok, we understand!hehehe What matters is atleast we already met her and know a little bit of her background!hehehe

It was indeed a wonderful time spent again with my family. I just thank God for giving my mama and my brother another year to enjoy and celebrate life! More years to come for the both of them!

My working hours starts from 8:30am to 5:30 pm (that is ideally!)hehe but ever since i started working at our office i seldom go home at that particular time, usually i go home around 7 or 8 in the evening worst is around 11pm. But thanks to Mr. E!yipeee!As January started we were able to go out of the office at 5 30, sometimes even earlier!hephep hurray! He is indeed a great blessing to us!

Spending long hours at the office is really tiring, as much as possible i want to be out at exactly 5 30hehehe ;)I've spent quite long hours at the office For the past couple of months and because of that i've missed a lot of family bondings, hanging out with friends, my social life and other stuffs! I just thank God for this opportunity of having a stress free working hours now;)hehehe i just hope and pray that this will continue until the rest of the year and the years to come!hahaha wish ko lang!

Finally, after 11 days of loooong vacation, its finally time to go back to my usual day to day adventures.heheheh I am really tired today, i woke up so early because i wanted to be fisrt in the office so i can already start validating deposits, but then as usual, i was late again.hehehe As what we expected people rushed to the bank and there were really a lot of clients, a lot of transactions, plus pending transactions, huh!i even ate my lunch at 3pm! hhuhuuhuhu ;) and i went homelate at around 11 30 pm, because we need to finish all the transactions today. haaaay :) but i just thank God for the strength he has given me and my officemates. i thank God for another learning experience. I just hope and pray that we can finish earlier tomorow!hehehe

Cagayan de Oro Flash Flood

My family and i has been staying here in Cagayan for almost 11 years now, and after those long years we have learned to love this place. Nice environment, peaceful community, and as far as i can remember, this place has rarely experience major calamities.

But on the the 3rd day of January 2009, around 6-7am in the morning, our beloved city was hit by a Flash Flood. Properties has been destroyed, Thousands of Families lost their homes, even some have lost or have missing family members. Some of our church mates was even affected by the flood, but thank God they are all safe now. Praise God that the said thing happened early in the morning and not at night when everybody is at sleep!

Thankful thursday 1

This is my first entry for thankful thursday and i already have a lot in my mind ;) There are a lot of things and reasons to be thankful for especially for the year that just passed(2008) ;)

1. I thank God for this wonderful life that he has given me ;) i thank him for his faithfullnes, for the day to day blessings and miracles that i experienced and his provisions this past year, not just to me but to my family!

2. i thank God for my family who has been there for me,they have been very very supportive in everything ;) i thank God for a much much better relationship with them ;)

3. I thank God that after a very long period of waiting and of praying my bf is finally home ;) its definitely worth to wait on GOd's perfect timing ;)

4. i thank God that after a year of being jobless, i now have a stable job! i just praise him for this favor in my life!

5. i thank GOd for the problems i've encountered last year, it was indeed a very humbling and a learning experience ;) it was also an opportunity for me to grow as a person ;) i thank him that as i face these probs last year, the joy and peace that comes from him alone never left me. ;)

6. I thank GOd for he is expanding my territory in all areas of my life ;) and i believe the best is yet to come! :)thank you Lord for everything!

My life has been fairly gud last year(i mean 2008)hehehe.. It was actually a roller coaster of emotions last year ;)

UAAP WOMENS VOLLEYBALL

I was never a sport minded person, never did like any sport except for badminton. But last year during my 'tambay' days(hehehhehe) i learn to like this sport and become an avid viewer of this league, and this is no other than VOLLEYBALL! hehehe. About december of last year i started watching uaap womens volley, this is an Inter-collegiate competition among different schools in manila which showcases the athletic talents and abilities of the students in this particular sport. Last year's champion was my favorite team, the FEU LADY TAMARAWS!

Finally after several times of trying and planning, i'm now back to the blogsphere ;) hephep hurray!
I actually had my blog before but because i was adjusting to my new schedule and new life as an employee i didnt have any time to blog at all. But now after having a lot of encouragement and motivation from my blogger friends(hehehe) i decided to give it a try once again!(hahahah i gues it would require me a lot of time management.heheh)
